The Kangaroo Hoppet aims to bring together cross country skiers from all over the world, of all ages and ability. This Premier long distance cross country ski race has three different challenges for the different levels of ability.
The main race is a 42km event across the Bogong High Plains. Then onto the 21km Australian Birkebeiner and then the Joey Hoppet event which leaves shortly after the previous one. All three events leave and finish at the Falls Creek Nordic Bowl.

Mount Beauty becomes a buzz with activity on the first Saturday of every month. Around 25 stalls are set up with treasures ranging from local food and produce to jewellery and plants.
The market runs from 9am through to 2pm, giving you plenty of time wonder and enjoy.
